Its been quite some time since my and my girlfriend vix has been on holiday. Our favourite destination is Amsterdam for lots of reasons but also because its so close and cheap to get to from the UK. Last time we visited Amsterdam was a couple of years ago.
When we were there, we stayed at Di Ann hotel which is just outside the City centre. No more than a 10 minute walk from Dam Square. Which means with in 10 minutes we were right in the heart of Amsterdam and all the events they hold that goes with it.
Now we are planning on going back later this year, and every year afterwards. After all. Doesn’t everyone need a break? Amsterdam is the perfect place to relax with events and things to do for people of all ages.
The difference between last time and this time when we go is the travel arrangements. Last time we got there by P&O Ferry that departed from Hull and arrived in Rotterdam. Which meant a 2 hour bus ride to Central Station. Not fun and not comfy. Especially when we just spent 12 hours on a ferry that didn’t exactly rush to cross the North Sea. No this time we are planning on a nice airplane ride from Birmingham International as it’s only a stones throw away from where we are. Plus it means we get to spend more time on holiday rather than simply travelling.
Roll on holiday time. The girlfriend certainly needs one and i wouldn’t mind some time away from a pc. (Plus i get to take more pictures 
)
Hopefully we can get the holiday to co-incide with some big events. There’s always something happening in Amsterdam!
