Get Paid To Search The Internet!

With all the hype surrounding this new method of getting paid for doing very little. I thought i’d give it a look. (No not because it’s easier than waking up. I just thought i’d give it a looksie.)

The whole idea and concept is paid for by ASK.COM from what i understand, and its all about making people more aware of their search engine.

So the process goes a little like this. Me/You make a search through the provided link. You find the site your interested in and click it and get the info you wanted. Then if the owner of the website wonders where this new visitor came from. He may click the refferal link and use Ask.com just that little bit more. (This might not be exactly how it works. But in my mind this is EXACTLY how it works.)

They pay roughly 3 pence per search. Which certainly isn’t gunna make you a gazillionaire anytime soon. But if you search the web alot anyway. You may as well give it a try.

Here’s how the maths come up

20 searchs per day = 60p

20 searches per day over a week = £4.20

52 weeks @ £4.20 = £218.40

And thats just for searches that you would normally make!

Do they really pay?

I have absolutely no idea, I’ve only just joined. Although I have heard alot of good things about them from other people using the service. Which is why i intend to work it up to the £20 minimum payout limit. Wait the standard 45 days for payout and see what happens. Another thing to remember is that Ask.com isn’t exactly a new company. They’ve been around for a while and should be paying out all the people that search through their interface. (It wouldn’t make much sense to promote a site then ruin it by not paying it’s users.

Payment methods.

They pay by Paypal or cheques.Probably more payment options offered in the future. Although i think Paypal and cheque cover almost everyone.

How does it work? Do i have to install anything?

This part is pretty simple, Firstly No there is nothing to install. You just add it into the search engine box provided at the top of your browser. It couldn’t be easier to remove should you decide you no longer want it on your browser.

Here’s how it looks.
