This is a follow on post from earlier today where i mentioned we were looking for new living room furniture. Well now it’s time to move onto the kitchen.

Our kitchen isn’t the largest in the world. (In fact it’s possibly closer to the smallest in the world.) But it’s a kitchen none the less, which serves it’s purpose. The things we really need to replace are the washer,a few electrical appliances, new knives as well as new cookware. But all the big things are just gunna have to wait. Holiday and other stuff to pay for first.

When the time does come, the washer won’t be one of those washer dryer types. The dryer never works in them and most the clothes don’t wash properly. Nah instead we’ll choose just your average washer. Although it may have some fancy things on it. Like the odd flashing light or something basic. Nothing that can go drastically wrong and cost a packet for it to be fixed.

The most important things to be replaced are probably the cooking knives. I always bought cheap ass knives before and really paid the price when half way through cutting chips the damn handle snapped off! Not only that but small pieces of metal shot everywhere which really wasn’t a good thing. So instead of heading down the usual route of cheapo knives. I think i’ll order some of these funky shun knives. There’s just something about them that screams quality. (I could be wrong, but it’s worth a try.) Read the rest of this entry »

Every once in a while, there’s things that need changing around. Whether it be a change of curtains,change of furniture or a change of

carpets. There’s always something that needs to be replaced or updated.

Well, it appears that time is now as my girlfriend just won’t stop looking through bookcases online for the one that she wants. I personally couldn’t care less what the furniture. looks like as it does the job. Women however, are a whole different kettle of fish from my experience. Today i was reading through a thread on the legendary DP about a publisher on Clickbank who couldn’t help but laugh at one of his customers.

Basically what had happened is the customer was trying to buy something, But due to some error or another the purchase didn’t go through straight away. The customer must of been in a rush or something because he somehow managed to purchase the product a total of 9 times.

Not only did the guy purchase the product 9 times, he even sent an email to the publisher saying he thinks he was over charged and wouldn’t do business with him again. Thats fair enough i think. But should the publisher still make the customers name public? Even more should they be laughing and saying they did nothing wrong?

Personally i think it’s people like this that give the whole marketing scene a bad name.

I don’t think i have the energy to go through the whole drama here with you guys. Instead take a look at this thread where the publisher makes his customers details public and refuses to give a refund. Maybe he’s not obliged to give a refund. But wouldn’t it be the right thing to do?

Car accidents happen just about every minute of the day, everyday. With so many vehicles on the road. It really is no surprise that accidents happen for a number of reasons. Tiredness,driving for too long, mobile phones and other distractions all lead to accidents.

The reason i decided to write this post, was because i read something on the net that made me wonder if i would be happy with a monetary payout should i ever be involved in a serious accident.

I read about a case that was taken on by a Boston car accident attorney. The short version of it is, that a passenger was in the backseat of a car, when the car got rear ended by a truck. The dude in the backseat ended up with all kinds of problems, and even had to have an MRI scan.

The final payout for the dude in the backseat was $526,816.00. Which is alright i suppose, especially as it was an accident. Although he did suffer with on going conditions and 20% body function failure. But if it wasn’t for his Boston auto accident lawyer he may not of got that and ended up not being able to work without compensation.

So i wondered if i was involved in an accident and received a cash settlement. Would i be happy? I first decided that i’d be pretty pissed off with being in such a serious accident in the first place. Then i started to think “At least i’d still be alive, and have some money to spend whilst i couldn’t do much else”. I figure i’d be happy to be alive, and of course i wouldn’t refuse the cash settlement. Unfortunately, accidents happen. I just hope no one i know or myself are involved in something like what happened above. Not everyone is as lucky to survive a car/truck accident and live to tell the tale.
