Its all about me!

I Hear Wedding Bells!

Is there a better sound in the summer time than that of wedding bells? I suppose it depends on who you are really. Well if your a certain mate of mine who plans on tying the proverbial knot in just a few weeks, your probably waiting for those bells to start ringing pretty soon.

Weddings are fun, i don’t have a problem with them. Alcohol everywhere, people getting too drunk and making fools of themselves, and of course the happy couple themselves. (Plus bridesmaids ;) )

My only concern is, what the hell do i get them? Sure i could grab HIM something for fishing, Or i could get HER some shoes. But what in the world do we get for both of them?

I don’t intend to break the bank that’s for sure. So will probably look into some of these cheap wedding favors. It’s not that i don’t care, but i think he’s got a right bargain with his new wife to be. (Like they’ll have the time ;) to care what we bought them).

The most likely wedding favor i’ll buy, will probably be some photo holding coasters. Or something equally useful for their new marital home. Read the rest of this entry »

Great Britain And The Olympics 2008 - Gold Medal Winners

The 2008 Olympics is something that as a Briton, may never forget. Its the first time in such a long time that we have had this many medals.

For such a small country, Britain isn’t really doing that badly. I mean. We’re THIRD! Out of all the countries that entered we made it into 3rd position on the tables. Not for total medals, But who cares. We’re third.

My intentions are to keep this post upto date with all the golds that Great Britain win in this years Olympics. Tomorrow i’ll work on the post for Silver medalists as well as Bronze winners.

Stupid America - You decide.

Most of you have probably seen this video kicking around on YouTube for the last year or so. I bookmarked it ages ago and it kind of got lost in my bookmarks ( I have THOUSANDS of favourites.) When i was kind of clearing a few of them out, i discovered it was still hiding in there.

I don’t believe that ALL Americans are stupid. Some of them yes, but not all of them.

The main reason i love this video, is because through my years of online (Console) gaming. I’ve met a fair few of them. Most of which resemble what you will see in this video.

If you know how many sides a triangle has, then look away now.

Personal Security, Are People Careful?

Ok, so today i went out shopping to pick up some food and other things from the supermarket. Not a huge journey, in fact it takes about 10 minutes to get there, so travelling with bags and whatever is no problem.

Anyway, Whilst i was waiting to use the Cash machine (ATM) there was a woman in front of me who was already using the machine. What caught my attention was the fact that she didn’t really seem aware that her purse was at arms length from her, and she wasn’t exactly protecting her pin either. (I could see it and i wasn’t even trying).

It got me thinking about all the shows that are on the TV and even movies made about people getting robbed and how their credit cards/purses and anything else of value vanishes within minutes. It seems that no matter how many TV shows we make about it. It’s just simply never gunna get through.

The woman had obviously never seen The Real Hustle.

If some local criminal had been nearby when she was just having a merry day out at the cash machine. Her purse, bag and cash card would of been gone. (And they’d have probably gotten her pin number to, like i said. it wasn’t a secret.)

So think next time your at that cash machine. Keep your pin covered, try and not put your purse on top of the bin, and keep an eye on whats going on around you. It only takes a minute for everything you’ve worked for such as your credit rating and your wages to suddenly be gone.

Oh and if the woman from Sainsburys is reading this. Next time, cover your pin, keep your purse close to you and don’t fart when people are stood behind you waiting to use the machine!

Free Credit Score Report

Free Credit Score Report

Do you need a free credit score report? You may find you do need a free credit score report when applying for things like finance, mortgages, loans or other financially related items.

You may also want to run a free credit score report, so that you can see how much damage you did to your credit score when you weren’t as responsible as what you are now. (Maybe you just need to check if your credit score report is good enough so you can buy that nice new shiny car.)

There’s no doubt hundreds of reasons why you’d be wanting to find out whereabouts you score on that credit score report, and that’s nobodys business but your own. It’s your credit score, you deserve to see where abouts you stand on the whole credit report tree. Read the rest of this entry »
