I thought i’d take a look around Google Trends today and see what were hot searches as i had a bit of time to spare and wasn’t really sure what to do with it. After skipping a few of the results and hopping to the 3rd page i found something i recognized from the local paper about an upside down house. That was pretty cool on its own but there was a news article from one of the UK papers about a goldfish that swims upside down.
So fish swim upside down all the time right? Correct. But Horatio the gold fish has been doing this for 5 years!
Horatios owner, Mr Gordon explains:
“The first time I saw him I thought he was dead and I was going to flush him away.
“But I flicked the glass and he started swimming again.
“Strangely, when I put food in he’ll always swim up to it the right way round.
“He then swims back down again and rolls over and floats upside down once more.
“At first I was worried but he seems happy enough and is able to swim around just fine.”
