I first spotted this drug about a year ago when someone pointed me to a video on YouTube. I had absolutely no idea what it was,what its effects were or if it was even legal. It turns out that after a small amount of research (And i mean really small amount of research).

I found that it was from a plant, had effects similar to LSD and was indeed legal in most countries across the world. In fact there are only a few countries with some form of control.

The plant is native to Mexico and was used by Shamans throughout time to induce some of those wacky moments you see on films and documentaries where they go kinda nuts. With its popularity growing, i doubt Mexico is the only place is grows nowadays with greenhouses probably contributing to its growth over seas.

Since it went commercial, there’s quite a few different strengths of the extract itself. I believe it started off somewhere around x4. But nowadays stronger extracts have been becoming popular such as salvia 20x and the more potent salvia40x.

As it’s legal in Amsterdam, and i get to Amsterdam this week. I might get the chance to see first hand what this drug is like just by checking out some of the local Smartshops. Someone there is bound to be buying it, i’ll just have to follow them and see what it’s like when they take it. Maybe even grab a video of them!

So yesterday most of the UK suffered some kind of downtime on one or another of their services.  Phones didn’t ring, TV’s didn’t work and contacting them in anyway at all was a total nightmare. Many people had this experience.

Well if your still wondering what happened over at Virgin Media HQ.  I found out today through a quick call whilst wanting to know about the refund (You can get one too. Just call and ask.) they promised me yesterday and what had happened. Turns out a fire broke out in one of their buildings and burnt through a whole load of cable.
Which of course affects everyones service who just so happens to be supplied via those cables.  Due to the outage, their own systems were down, customers were frustrated and not getting answers, and even after 5 hours of the fire breaking out. Virgin Media staff had nothing to tell customers. Just that it was down and they didn’t know what the problem was.

Errrrm, how did they not notice a fire burning away for several hours? I mean… don’t they have fire alarms or sprinklers or even a dude with a sense of smell looking after these kind of things?  Or did they really blow their budget when they started hiring celebs like Uma Thurman and other?

Luckily no one was injured as far as the woman knew. The only injured party in yesterdays fire at VM HQ was cables… lots and lots of cables.

So today i was just sat here listening to good old Sascha Brooks on Galaxy, when suddenly there was no sound.  Thinking it was just a temporary glitch in the matrix system i let it play out for a while.

After about 10 minutes of total silence i tried the other channels and surprise surprise, there was nothing, Nudda,zip,zilch.  Not a single channel was working!  The first thing i tried was rebooting the box. Any Virgin Media customer will tell ya that rebooting the box usually does the trick. If it doesn’t at least you know you tried.

After plugging the box in, it just sat there showing me a stupid Virgin Media logo that i wasn’t the slightest bit interested in, i wanted Sascha Brooks and i wanted to listen to it NOW!!!!

After 2 hours of calling their magic 150,151 and another 0845 number. I finally got through.  Only to be hung up on by a member of staff. Another 20 minutes later i got through to a helpful brainiac sarcastic member of staff named Sarah.

Not of much help with regards to when the services would be coming back, or what the problem even was. She just knew that her system was down and didn’t appear to care about the customers.

At this moment in time, i’m unsure if Virgin Media have actually been bought out by Disney. As this is one hell of a Mickey Mouse operation their running.

OK rant over and i feel better…….. I think.
