Library login

Due to recent problems with the ISP, i am having to blog form the library. Not exactly ideal but hey. At least i manage to make it online.

The reason the ISP (Virgin Media) disconnested us, was due to an ongoing problem for numerous years where we paid. But they couldn’t provide the service. Sucks i know but this is just the tip of how they treat loyal customers who neevr get behind on their bill and make issues known to them.

After numerous promised call backs and being guaranteed that our services would be fixed. It seems the easiest way for Virgin Media to deal witht their customers is to simply disconnect them.  Not just the internet. But every service we had with them.

Now it’s just a case of waiting for BT to be installed and then no more Virgin Media and no more shoddy customer service.   If BT customer service turnsout to be that shoddy, then i guess we’ll be moving yet again.

Time will tell and then we’ll see.

Soon to come is a comparison post for anyone wondering who else to switchto sign up other than the dreaded Virgin Media.

Lesson learnt, Virgin Media sucks.

Choosing the gender of your child

I often wondered how easy it was when it came to choosing the gender of your child. I mean isn’t this something that surpasses science and is left up to chance?  Apparently not.

I was reading around on the net recently and found a couple of places that claim choosing the gender of your child is easier than you might think, especially if your like me and believe it all comes down to chance.

Some of the guides have info regarding positions that are more favourable for producing a girl, and some have tips on what to eat so your body reacts in a way that makes it possible for you to have a boy or a girl.  All of which are backed up with science and a money back guarantee. Sound good?

One of the best one’s according to reviews from around the net is Choosing the gender of your child.  Which also comes with a money back guarantee.  So if you don’t like the info within, just apply for a no hassle refund.

Baby Sign Language

So with baby Zach on a quick path to the real outside world. It’s time to think about how to communicate with him. The most popular way other than guess work on what they want is often to start a few basic baby sign language movements with them.

I’d never heard of it before until a few years ago when it was all over various tv shows showing how babies without speech abilities yet were still able to communicate with their parents.  A really good idea to me, and many othes it seems as there are numerous websites out there with info on baby sign language and when you should start the process of teaching them. Baby name is picked!

So in the last post which happened to be written quite a while ago, i mentioned how we were having problems coming up with a suitable baby name for our soon to be born son.

After reading through hundreds of names and trying pick one that sounded right (Yer we actually wrote many of the suggestions down and spoke almost all of them outloud  to see how they sounded) We’ve finally got one sorted which we like.  Not so sure the rest of the world like it, but we do and thats what really matters.

The name we chose for our son will be “Zachary Jayden“, quite a nice name if i may say so myself ;) .

Other name’s didn’t sound quite right when matched up with our last name, but Zachary was a sure fire winner, and Jayden. Well that was something we got from a TV show and liked it alot for a middle name.

So now all we have to do is wait,  and wait… and wait. until May comes around and baby Zachary is here with us.  Vix reckons it’ll feel wierd not to be pregnant anymore, and i can see what she means. She changed her life and the way she eats to make sure that the baby was getting everything he needed while still looking after herself at the same time. In a couple of months time.  There will be no baby kicking around or making her tummy somersault like there is now.

On the plus side, she’ll be holding him in her arms and be able to see him, not just feel him.

Only a few weeks left to see exactly what he looks like and then i get to hold him too…. I can’t wait.
