Before Zachary was born we were hardpressed to choose a pushchair. We were looking for something which was not only affordable, but also ideal for the things we do, such as walking most places and going shopping without a car. But we still needed a car seat for when travelling further afield.
We spent quite some time checking out the various stores with pushchairs and prams for sale. But the prices were either too high, or the pushchair didn’t seem strong enough for all the walking we would be doing with it. The two that we ended up deciding between were the Trenton Deluxe from Mothercare, or the Jeep pushchair / Travel System. Both had the same features and both were of a similar price.
Luckily there was someone whom Vix worked with that had a Trenton Deluxe from Mothercare in good condition. They cleaned up great and had all the fitting, covers etc. The only thing extra we needed to buy was the rain cover, and a parasol for the summer sun.
The pushchair is great in my opinion for walking just about anywhere. Across the park is no problem as the wheels don’t jam up and when pushing pavements it seems almost effortless.
