One of my friends recently asked me to look into him setting up a forum. He asked me, as he really has no idea about the whole web hosting world and knew i had a bit more of an idea than he did.

SO i spent a bit of time looking around trying to find a solution for him.

I wasn’t exactly given a whole load of info except he said he didn’t want to worry about the updating of the forum script. Nor did he want to deal with hosting issues and costs. So all that really tells me is that he wanted the same as the rest of the planet. A forum with no hassle.

So i set to looking around the vastness of the internet for a solution for him. I found a couple of solutions, but the one that grabbed my attention the most was this Free forum site.

The reason it caught my attention was because it offers quite a few preinstalled themes and has a simple create forum button. I figured my friend couldn’t really go wrong with this. He knows how to create accounts at websites and thats all he really needs to do. Create an account and then create his forum. Couldn’t be any easier really.

It also gives him the chance to grow his forum to a decent size as they allow unlimited messages,users and more. So he won’t be hitting any limits with them for quite some time. It’ll also solve his worries of updating the software for security reasons, as the site will take care of that for him.

I’m hoping he’s pleased with this little find, it won’t cost him anything, nothing to worry about in the backend, and best of all its free! (He likes when i use the word free with him ).

As always, I spent some time trawling round the Internet the other day and i spotted a site that i quite liked. So of course I figured I’d share it.

The site is a live casino where you get to play games like live online roulette, baccarat, as well as plenty more. With plenty of games listed, it’s fairly easy to find exactly what your looking for.

The sites design looks like a typical 3 column layout with 1 sidebar each side and the main content in the centre. This gives the site a good feel in my opinion, as most sites are 3 column. We all have Common questions that occur to us from time to time and the net is a great place to turn for answers to these.
17 Things is a new site which aims to help us by providing answers when we are in need.

The site is split up into categories covering topics such as automobiles, business, crafts, food and drink and so on. Each category has several articles and 17 more are
added to the site each day. The articles are provided by professional freelance writers. They say there is also plans to include the ability for site visitors to ask and answer each
others questions in the near future, for the mean time though there is a comments section on each article for you to have your 2ps worth!

Some interesting articles I found were What caused evolution of primates to modern man ? and

All in all, a usefull site which should become more usefull over time as more content and features are added.

Today i was reading through a thread on the legendary DP about a publisher on Clickbank who couldn’t help but laugh at one of his customers.

Basically what had happened is the customer was trying to buy something, But due to some error or another the purchase didn’t go through straight away. The customer must of been in a rush or something because he somehow managed to purchase the product a total of 9 times.

Not only did the guy purchase the product 9 times, he even sent an email to the publisher saying he thinks he was over charged and wouldn’t do business with him again. Thats fair enough i think. But should the publisher still make the customers name public? Even more should they be laughing and saying they did nothing wrong?

Personally i think it’s people like this that give the whole marketing scene a bad name.

I don’t think i have the energy to go through the whole drama here with you guys. Instead take a look at this thread where the publisher makes his customers details public and refuses to give a refund. Maybe he’s not obliged to give a refund. But wouldn’t it be the right thing to do?
